UFC 205 Behind The Scenes – We take a look at the event that was UFC 205, discussing the experience of being a part of the single biggest MMA event in history.
We discuss chance encounters with Conor McGregor’s father, how UFC 203’s crowd in Cleveland, OH stacked up with the crowd at Madison Square Garden and much more. Join Ryan Middleton, Jim Mooney and Terry Dactyl for this final wrap up discussion on UFC 205 and take a look at UFC 205 Behind The Scenes. In case you missed it, MMA Fancast, which is brought to you by Octagon 247.com, was live at UFC 205 and were podcasting live from New York City for this very special occasion. MMA Fancast had five Special Edition podcasts while in New York City. Be sure to check out the previous podcasts that break down all of the action that happened at UFC 205, including:
- Conor McGregor’s complete destruction of Eddie Alvarez. The talk finally ended and we got a chance to see who was really going to back up the bold and strong predictions that they two had been jawing about for weeks now.
- The tremendous fight that was Tyron Woodley vs. Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson. These two are likely headed to a rematch after their majority draw on Saturday night. I think that makes everyone happy!
- Joanna defeating Karolina for the 115lb. Women’s strap. This has the making of a very nice rivalry that can catapult this division.
- Yoel Romero’s devastating knee that took Chris Weidman to somewhere else, not in this world. It was brutal but it was nice to see Chris get up and walking on his own power.
- Miesha Tate’s stunning loss and even more surprising announcement of her retirement from MMA. All credit goes to Raquel Pennington as she really handled herself well. I would be surprised if Miesha did not come back in the next couple years.
- We also broke down many of the undercard fights as well as look at UFC 205 Behind The Scenes
